Dear valued customers*, Dear friends*
After almost 38 intense years in the pharmaceutical, capital equipment and medical device industry (including 31 years in plastic surgery and 9 very successful years at POLYTECH), I have now decided to retire. My last day as CEO at POLYTECH will be 31.12.2023. It is certainly not an easy decision, but the timing is well chosen for some plans that I have always postponed until now.
My time at POLYTECH has been an incredibly enriching, exciting, and challenging journey for me. Over the course of this long period of time, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with you and many other very impressive and enriching people, customers and business partners. Over the many years in plastic surgery, many trusting friendships have developed that mean a lot to me and from which I was able to learn a lot in the process. Together we have achieved many considerable and impressive successes that will always remain in my best memory.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to my employees, you, all team members and partners for the excellent cooperation, the often very personal exchange and also the trust placed in me. Even though professionalism was usually in the foreground, it was always a lot of joy and fun. From January 2024, I will continue to be available to POLYTECH in an advisory capacity for 2 years. I will hand over the CEO function to my successor, Maria-Johanna Schaecher. For the time being, she will continue to be responsible for the finance department, which she has already led as interim CFO since July 1, 2023. As a result, Maria-Johanna. Schaecher has been able to get to know the company very well for a long time and familiarize herself with all essential topics. She has many years of experience as General Manager and CEO in other companies. She has extensive industry expertise and can therefore continue the successful development at POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics.
Finally, I would like to thank you once again for the many years of trusting and successful cooperation as well as support over a very long period of time.
We will certainly be able to see each other again at one of the future meetings, congresses or events, which I am already looking forward to. I wish my successor every success in her new role. I would appreciate if you extend the same great amount of trust to Maria-Johanna Schaecher that I have always been able to enjoy.
