Women's Day at POLYTECH — Equality in a Femtech Company

POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics GmbH

International Women's Day is an opportunity to pause and reflect on how equality is experienced in everyday working life. Last year, we marked Women's Day by sharing perspectives from women in management positions at POLYTECH. You can revisit that piece here.

This year, we wanted to broaden the lens and connect two things that sit at the heart of who we are: our commitment to equality within POLYTECH, and our mission as a femtech company dedicated to the health and wellbeing of women.

Femtech is one of the fastest growing sectors in healthcare[1], and for good reason. Women’s health has historically been underserved, and closing that gap requires more than visibility. It requires long term expertise, scientific commitment, and sustained investment.

At POLYTECH, this focus is not new. For nearly 40 years, we have worked directly connected to women’s health. While our portfolio extends beyond this field, the majority of our solutions are designed specifically for women. This has never been a trend we followed, it has always been central to who we are.

That purpose is reflected not just in our products, but in our people.

When your mission is to improve women's health, having women shape that mission from the inside is not a coincidence, it is a strategic advantage Women contribute at every level of our organisation, bringing expertise, judgement, gender perspectives and continuity to what we do every day.

In Germany, women account for 55.6 percent of our workforce. In Italy, this figure rises to 69.6 percent. Across our direct markets, women represent 58 percent of our employees — and within management roles, women account for 66.7 percent.

Beyond gender, diversity runs through the entire organisation.

Today, 45 nationalities work together at POLYTECH, bringing different perspectives, cultures, and experiences into everyday collaboration. When you are building products for women around the world, that breadth of perspective is essential.

Behind every statistic in this article is a woman who chose to be here, chose to stay, and chose to bring her best. Retention, engagement, and contribution at that level do not happen by accident. They are the result of a culture built deliberately, one where professional development is real, where leadership reflects the workforce, and where the work itself carries real meaning beyond the day-to-day.

On Women's Day, we are proud to share these voices. Not because they tell an exceptional story, but because they reflect an everyday one. To hear more from the women behind POLYTECH this Women's Day, head to our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn channels where we share the stories of 12 women across our organization.
