POLYTECH’s 2022 Breast Education Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics GmbH 2022-10-07

With one in eight women affected by breast cancer during their lifetime1, the field of breast reconstruction shows advancements with new technologies and surgical techniques.

Every year for the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we engage with our patient community in a cross-channel campaign, attempting to increase awareness on the important topics of early detection and breast health in general.

With the largest social media community in breast aesthetics, engaging with more than 700,000 followers on a daily basis, our campaign will share informative content in blog posts and a month-long campaign on our different social channels. The campaign will run simultaneously across the different social channels and in three languages (English, Spanish and German).

About Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is recognized as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and since 1985 is used as an educational platform to increase awareness on breast cancer and educate women on the importance of early detection for positive prognosis.

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women, affecting one in eight women in the western world2. Self-examination, annual checkups, and screening tests are among the preventative measures recommended for women to ensure breast health and early detection. In any case of concern, women are advised to visit their physician.
