Dr. Oliver Bögershausen has been a key figure in POLYTECH’s regulatory team since 1998. By 2001, he took on the leadership of the Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs departments, where he played a vital role in establishing new production facilities at the Dieburg site in 2004. His leadership ensured the successful development and manufacturing of POLYTECH’s proprietary implants, embodying the company’s “Quality Made in Germany” standard. Production commenced in 2008 following certification.
In 2016, Dr. Bögershausen shifted focus back to managing quality and regulatory affairs, guiding the company through increasingly complex regulatory requirements in the medical device sector. With deep expertise in breast implant standards, he is an active participant in key ISO, CEN, and DIN standardization committees, contributing to industry-wide improvements.
Dr. Bögershausen holds a PhD in biophysics and is a qualified biologist.
