I lead my team with a focus on rigorous research, creativity, and a deep understanding of patient needs to develop products that are both safe and effective, while continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry. We strive to provide surgeons with the tools they need to empower individuals to feel their best."
In 2006, Dael co-founded G&G Biotechnology with his brother, senior plastic surgeon Dr. Jacky Govrin-Yehudain, and together they developed B-Lite®, the world’s first and only lightweight breast implant. Following the merger of G&G into the POLYTECH Group in 2018, Dael took on the leadership role for the group’s R&D, where he oversees innovation and product development.
With over 35 years of experience in medical device innovation and management, Dael has held senior positions in startups, established companies, and the not-for-profit healthcare sector. He holds a B.Sc. in Electronic and Computer Engineering, an M.Sc. (Honors) in Biomedical Engineering, and has completed the Harvard Business School Executive training in innovation leadership. He is the inventor on over 30 granted patents.
